Welcome to Our Church
Living and Sharing the Gospel
Our Beliefs
God has given us all we need within the Holy Scriptures
As a church of Christ, we believe that the Bible is the Holy and authoritative Word of God. God has provided for us, through divinely inspired writers, this book by which we can lead a life worthy of the calling to which we have been called. We have no beliefs outside of what is recorded in the Bible, because if God had more to say, he would have had it written down for us. We choose to live our lives, to the best of our ability, according to all that is written, no more and no less.
Our Mission
Sharing our faith with bold resolve
It is our mission to seek and serve in our local area, leading people to Christ and serving to encourage the saints who are already serving in this area.
Some of our annual ministry projects have included preparing Thanksgiving baskets for low income families in the military, providing Christmas for disadvantaged families, hosting suppers in our building for the disadvantaged in our area, and supporting our local food pantry.
Our Church
Striving to be that light on a hill
Many people feel that when they come to church they will be judged by a body of people who consider themselves to be perfect, however we do not see ourselves in this way. We are a body of sinners, all of us are imperfect with our own personal struggles, but together we support and love each other so that we can overcome each of our own individual challenges. This mutual support is important because we cannot continue in sin, and must strive for better. If we would be so blessed as to have you join us for worship, you will find the same love as is recorded in 1 Peter 4:8 within our congregation.
Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins
Our Church Life
Fellowship is key
Fellowship over Food is Fun
Jesus knew it best!
Jesus revealed the Kingdom as He shared meals with others. In fact, Jesus is found eating throughout the gospels so frequently that some scholars declare that he “ate his way through the Gospels.”
Similarly, we frequently fellowship in the same jovial manner as our Lord. Often after morning or evening services we will gather at one of the various restaurants nearby and have dinner and / or dessert together. We would be thrilled for you to join us!
Youth Activities
Encouraging the next generation
It is said that the church is only as strong as it’s next generation. We strive to encourage our youth in the ways of Christ, so that they may grow up understanding His love for them, and so that they may find that love for other people within themselves. We have youth classes Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights during Bible study, and we occasionally host Friday night activities including bowling and movie nights, among others.
Train up a child in the way he should go,
Even when he is old he will not depart from it.
